1. Be as busy as a bee 

像蜜蜂一樣忙碌，忙得團團轉，這個加busy的表達是不是瞬間高了一個檔次呢？

I'll be as busy as a bee if I want to finish all my homework before the semester is over.

如果我想要在學期結束之前完成所有的作業，我就會忙的不可開交。

2. Have one's hands full 

手頭的事情應接不暇，忙得不可開交

I have got my hands full already with all kinds of work, and haven't got the time for any more. 

我手頭已經堆滿了各種工作, 因此我無暇再搞別的

3. Be up to one's neck

忙于，深陷于，忙得不可開交

I can't possibly come out tonight. I'm up to my neck in work.

今晚我不可能出來了，我的工作忙得不可開交。

4. Be tied-up 

很忙的，被占用

I'll be tied up the rest of the week, I am afraid. 

這個星期我恐怕都抽不出時間。

5. Have irons in/ on the fire

同時有（很多）事情要做

Paul had a number of irons in the fire, and he managed to keep all of them hot. 保羅手上攬了好幾件工作，他有辦法件件都做好。

6. Have a lot on (one's) plate 

以盤子裝滿了食物來太忙,而不是用來比喻豐衣足食之類的意思

I’m sorry I can’t be of help. I have enough on my plate.

7. On the go

忙個不停，四處奔走

He has been on the go for the past 5 months, hunting for a job.

在過去的5個月里，他一直在四處奔波，尋找工作。

8. Have eggs on the spit

手頭有事，正在忙著

I forget to tell you, I am writing a short story now; I have eggs on the spit.
