【英語寫作技巧】主旨句如何表達？放在哪里讓人一目了然？

         無論是中文寫作，或是英語寫作，主旨句在文章中都起關鍵作用。"主旨句"和"中心句"兩個詞常常被提及，認為"主旨句"就是"中心句"。"中心"是"事物的主要部分"；"主旨"是"主要的意義、用意或目的"。從這意義上來講，文章的"中心"應是文章寫作內容的集中體現，"主旨"是文章的寫作目的或者是作者思想感情的表達，起到畫龍點睛的作用。

一、主題句主要有四種表現形式

第一種，以段落首句的形式表現出來。（總述、概括）

第二種，以段落中間的某一句話表現出來。（承上啟下）

第三種，以段落末句的形式表現出來。（歸納、總結）

第四種，段落中沒有，需要自己提煉。

二、重點掌握第一種和第三種主旨句表達原則

         放在文章的開頭或者結尾，可以讓考官或者讀者一目了然，印象更加深刻，使文章層次感和結構更加完整！

例如：

1.To begin with, you must work hard at your lessons and be fully prepared before the exam(主旨). Without sufficient preparation, you can hardly expect to answer all the questions correctly.

首先，你必須努力學習功課，充分做好考試前的準備。

2.It goes without saying that successful business lies in a healthy body and mind. (主旨)

不用說，成功的事業關鍵在于健康的身心。

3.In my opinion, playing video games not only takes much time but also is harmful to our health.(主旨)

就我的看法，打電子游戲既花費時間也有害健康。

4.In order to enrich our campus life, our school has decided to hold various activities. (主旨)

為了豐富校園生活，我校決定舉行各種各樣的活動。

5.There is no doubt that near-sightedness is a serious problem among the youth of our country. (主旨)

毫無疑問，近視在我國的年輕人當中是一個嚴重的問題。

6.With the rapid development of our country’s economy, a lot of social problems have come to arise.(主旨)

隨著國家經濟的快速發展，許多社會問題產生了。

7.In the age of information and communication, the computer plays an extremely important role.(主旨)

在這信息的年代，計算機扮演著非常重要的角色。
