除了marry，外國人是如何聊“結婚”的？

桃之夭夭，灼灼其華。之子于歸，宜其室家。

       戀愛結婚是一生中浪漫的事，你是想著大擺筵席還是一趟屬于兩個人的旅行？今天，我們來看看關于“結婚”的一系列英語表達吧，看看外國人是如何聊“結婚”的。

（1）get married marry

是表示嫁或娶的意思，它是一個及物動詞，必須要加賓語。

例如“我要娶她”就是

I will marry her.

tip. I will get married.是指我“將來”想結婚。

如果你已經計劃好要結婚，你就要說：

I'm going to get married. 或者 I'm getting married.”

那么“結了婚”就可以說：

We were married或是We got married.

要是你說I want you to marry me.就是“我希望你嫁/娶我”

（2）Get hitched . 

hitch本意是指車輛后的拖鉤，用get hitched表示兩個人從此牽在了一起。

（3）Tie the knot

在以前的結婚典禮上要打結，表示新郎新娘的生活從此結合在一起。因此才會用tie the knot 來表示結婚。

（4）Walk down the aisle .

Aisle是指婚禮禮堂賓客之間的走廊，走過這段路就到了舉行婚禮儀式的地方了。

So, it’s not a shotgun wedding.

中文里的“奉子成婚”，“先上車后補票”在英語里叫]“shotgun.”Shotgun的意思是霰彈槍。

shotgun wedding，military wedding 

原指女方拿槍逼男方結婚，如今指因為懷孕而被迫結的婚。

但是，我們還是愿意相信，所有的婚姻的結合，是因為愛。

下面重現婚禮主持的經典一幕吧~

婚禮主持：

I think it's time for the wedding to begin.

好，時間差不多了。

All right, ladies and gentleman. Please take your place.The wedding ceremony is about to begin.

好，女士們，先生們。請各就各位，婚禮馬上就要開始了。
（婚禮進行曲響起，圣潔的婚禮正式開始）

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy wedlock.

大家好，我們今天在這里出席這位男士和這位女士的神圣的婚禮。

Do either of you have any reason why you should not legally be joined in marriage?

請問你們倆彼此當中的哪一位，有誰有什么理由認為你們的婚盟不合法嗎？

Is there anyone present who can show any just cause why these two people should not be legally joined in marriage?

在場的各位當中，有誰能提供正當的理由，指出這兩位的婚姻不合法嗎？

Then, (full name of the bridegroom here), do you take (full name of the bride here) to be your wedded wife?

好，（新郎正式姓名），你愿意接受（新娘正式姓名），作為你的合法妻子嗎？

Bridegroom: I do.

新郎： 我愿意。

And you,(full name of the bride here),do you take (full name of the bridegroom here) to be your wedded husband?

好，（新娘正式姓名），你愿意接受（新郎正式姓名），作為你的合法丈夫嗎？

Bride: I do.

新娘： 我愿意。

The rings, please.

請交換結婚戒指。

The two rings should be put on the Bible held by the Judge. Then the bridegroom take one up and puts it on the bride's finger. The bride take the other one up and puts it on the bridegroom's finger.

兩枚婚戒被放到《圣經》上。新郎把其中一枚為新娘戴到她的手指上。然后新娘把另一枚為新郎戴到他的手指上。

Those whom God hath joined together let no man put asunder .For as much as （Bride’s name ）and（Bridegroom’s name） have consented together in Holy Wedlock and have witnessed the same before God and this company.And there to have given and pledged their troth either to other, and have declared the same by giving and receiving of a ring,and by joining of hands.By the power vested in me by the laws of (the country name), I now pronounce you husband and wife.

上帝所庇佑的結合之人不會被人拆散。（新郎的名字）和（新娘的名字）愿意攜手共度余生，在上帝和親朋的共同見證下，并對彼此許下諾言，并通過交換戒指，攜手愿意共同進退來實現諾言。以（國家名）法律所賦予的合法權利，我現在宣布，你們正式結為合法夫妻。

You may kiss the bride now, (the full name of bridegroom).

你現在可以親吻你的妻子了，（新郎正式姓名）。

上面看的是其中一個版本，而我們最耳熟能詳的神父說的“你愿意讓她成為你的妻子/丈夫，愛她/他、照顧她/他無論疾病、痛苦……”那段話是這樣講的：

(Bride's Name/Groom's Name), do you take (Groom's Name/Bride's Name) for your lawful wedded husband/wife, to live together after God's ordinance, in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love, honor, comfort, and cherish him/her from this day forward, forsaking all others, keeping only unto him/her for as long as you both shall live?

新娘/新郎，你愿意讓他/她成為你的合法丈夫/妻子，正如上帝之神圣命定，從今以后愛著他/她，尊敬他/她，安慰他/她、珍愛他/她，并且在你們有生之年不另作他想，不離不棄，忠誠對待他/她嗎？

埃克斯阿爾曼說“對待自己溫柔一點，你只不過是宇宙的孩子，與植物、星辰沒什么兩樣?！?/span>
