The Spring Festival the most important festival in China.People usually decorate doors and windows with red paper cuts.Because red means good luck.People usually clean house too.Because they want to sweep away bad luck.Children can get some new clothes or presents from their parents and grandparents.On New Year's Eve,family always have a big dinner.Everybody are watch TV and talk.In the midnight,there usually fairworks.On New Year's Day,people usually put on their new clothes and vist their family and friends.They usually say Happy New Year's Day. The Spring Festival finhes at the Lantern Festival after two weeks.People usually eat a kind of rice dumpling called yuanxiao.It can take people good luck all the year round.

The Lunar New Year  a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school， and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; coupletsare posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On New Year's Eve, families gather to have a reunion dinner. After dinner they watched TV until the clock struck twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year， almost everyone  dressed in h or her best. When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.

農歷新年對中國人來說是一個偉大的節日。一年中的頭四天，除了值班的工人外，其他人都不工作。學生不上學，商店關門。

新年前幾天，人們開始準備。農民殺死豬、羊、公雞和母雞。城里人買肉和蔬菜。房子打掃干凈了；門上貼著對聯。門口掛著五顏六色的燈籠。

除夕之夜，家家戶戶都聚在一起吃團圓飯。飯后他們看電視直到鐘敲十二點。然后家家戶戶燃放長串的小鞭炮等火工品，迎接新的一年。在新年的第一天，幾乎每個人都穿著最好的衣服。當人們在路上相遇時，他們互相說“新年快樂”。親朋好友打電話拜年，互贈禮物。孩子們沉迷于游戲。

The Spring Festival， Chinese New Year， the most important festival for all of us. All family members get together on New Year's Eve to have a big meal.At the same time， everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 o'clock，some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky  lighted brightly. We may watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy it !

The first morning of the year， many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some house's windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.

The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days， we always invite our relatives from door to door.
